5 injuries reported following 3 vehicle crash in McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – Five people were injured as the result of a south McAllen collision involving three vehicles near I-2.

The accident took place just after 6 p.m. within the 1000 block of Toronto Avenue at the intersection with South 10th Street.

Police say the 20-year-old female driver of a 2016 Ford was speeding when she collided with the rear of a 2020 Chevrolet. The force of the initial impact sent the Chevrolet into the rear of a 2020 Lincoln.

All individuals involved in the crash, ranging in age from 19 to 73 were reportedly injured. Details regarding their conditions are still unclear at this time.
