Car crashes into home following high-speed chase

BISHOP, TX – Three people were arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing into a home, KRIS TV reports.

Police responded to a 911 call reported drug use at a store near U.S. Highway 77 and East 4th Street in Bishop. When they arrived, an SUV raced away at high speeds.

After a short chase, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a house on East 4th Street. Three people in the SUV were arrested at the scene. Police report finding drugs in the car.

Police also found an 11-month-old baby in the vehicle. The baby was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

All three people will be charged with evading arrest (motor vehicle), possession of a controlled substance and endangering a child.
