FREER, TX One person was killed after crashing into a parked tractor-trailer near Freer on Monday morning.
According to KRIS, the accident took place at about 8:30 a.m. along US-59 several miles west of downtown Freer.
Troopers believe the driver of a Mitsubishi was heading northeast when the vehicle skidded across the oncoming lane and collided with an 18-wheeler that was parked nearby.
The Mitsubishi caught fire, killing the driver inside. Their identity has not yet been released.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
