Edinburg man injured in McAllen collision

MCALLEN, TX – A man from Edinburg was reportedly injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 336 last Tuesday morning.

The collision was reported on SH-336 near downtown McAllen at about 10:45 a.m.

Police say the collision was caused by the 85-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2013 Ford attempted to make a right turn on red when he collided with the rear passenger side of a 2015 Kia.

The driver of the Kia, a 41-year-old man was reported injured as an immediate result of the crash. Details regarding the severity of his injuries remain unknown as of this writing.
