Flooding continues to affect roads in Rio Grande Valley

HARLINGEN, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation reports that flooding related to Hurricane Hanna, which hit the region late last month, continues to affect several roads throughout the Rio Grande Valley region.

According to the Drive Texas app, the following roads are closed:

  • FM 733 eastbound and westbound
  • FM 506 northbound and southbound
  • SH 107 eastbound and westbound
  • Kika dela Garza (FM 1425) northbound and southbound
  • FM 1420 northbound and southbound

Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in the region, follow posted safety warnings, and avoid unnecessary travel until the flooding subsides.
