Hit and run accident in Edinburgh leaves a man hospitalized

EDINBURGH, TX — A hit and run accident hospitalized a man in Edinburgh on Wednesday.

According to ValleyCentral, the accident occurred early in the morning on Wednesday. It took place on South Raul Longoria Road. Officers arrived at the crash site to find an injured man in his vehicle. Police evidenced from the crash that another car had collided with the injured man’s vehicle before departing the scene. There are currently no witnesses to the collision to provide information on what exactly transpired.

Soon, emergency medical services transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital. Police report that his injuries are non life-threatening. An investigation is still underway to find the driver at fault.
