CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a multi-vehicle crash involving a truck Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred shortly before 10:40 within the 1800 block of Laredo Street near the intersection with 17th Street. Police say the 62-year-old female driver of a 2005 Chevrolet failed to yield to the right of way when making a turn and collided with a 2018 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
One passenger in the Chevrolet sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
A third vehicle was involved. However, that driver fled the scene of the crash before emergency crews arrived.
