Injuries reported following multi-vehicle crash on Griffin Pkwy.

HIDALGO, TX – Officials with the Hidalgo Police Department reported at least one injury following a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred near the intersection of West Griffin Parkway and Moorefield Road moments before 2:00 p.m.

Police believe the 59-year-old female driver of a 2012 Nissan failed to control her speed and collided with the rear passenger side of a 2010 Toyota carrying two people.

One occupant in the Toyota, a 65-year-old woman was injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the severity of her injuries have not been made public.
