CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police Department have reported at least one injury as the result of a two-vehicle crash on Staples Street last Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Staples Street and Williams Drive. Police say the 19-year-old male driver of a 2002 Toyota attempted to make a right turn on red and collided with the front passenger side of a 2016 Chevrolet driven by a 49-year-old man.
The driver of the Toyota sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The severity of his injuries remains unknown at this time.
