ALTON, TX – Investigators are looking into the cause of a collision that left one woman injured near downtown Alton last Tuesday.
The incident was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Mine Avenue and Bryan Boulevard.
Officials believe the incident was caused by the 33-year-old male driver of a 2017 Ford when he failed to notice stopped or slowed traffic in front of him and collided with the rear of a 2007 Nissan.
The 25-year-old female drive of the Nissan was reported injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the extent of her injuries remain unknown as of this writing.
