SAN JUAN, TX – Authorities have arrested and charged a man in connection with a police pursuit that ended with a crash that injured a person at Business 83 and Nebraska St Sunday, KRGV reports.
Samuel Martinez, 19, led police on a chase that went through Mission, McAllen, Pharr, and ended in a major crash in San Juan. Enrique Rodriguez, 19, was injured in the wreck and taken to the hospital.
Martinez is charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, accident involving injury, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and evading arrest on foot. He is being held on a $310,000 bond at Hidalgo.
