MISSION, TX – Officials with the Mission Police Department have arrested one man in connection to a suspected DWI crash that seriously injured one person Saturday.
According to The Monitor, 25-year-old Jose Daniel Vera was arrested on intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury charges after a crash within the 800 block of South Bryan Road.
Details regarding the cause of the crash or the severity of injuries sustained by the victim were not mentioned in the arrest affidavit.
Officers say Vera was showing signs of visible impairment while at the scene of the crash. He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
