MCALLEN, TX – A 62-year-old man from San Juan is recovering in the hopital after being injured in a hit-and-run incident this month in McAllen, KRGV reports.
The victim was riding a moped on Frontage Road when he was knocked unconscious after being struck by an unknown vehicle.
He suffered multiple broken bones and has required several surgeries.
McAllen police have not yet identified the vehicle responsible.
