Man hospitalized following Rio Grande Valley police chase, crash

PHARR, TX – According to KRGV, a suspect has been hospitalized following a police chase that ended in a car crash in Pharr.

The incident began at I-2 and McColl Road at around 10 p.m. yesterday, when police attempted to stop a car. The driver fled, leading police on a chase before crashing into a wall near I-2 and Sugar Road.

Two passengers fled the vehicle following the crash.

The car’s driver, Gerardo Espinoza, 21, has been hospitalized. He is wanted in Harris County, and charges are also pending against him for last night’s incident.
