MCALLEN, TX – Officials with the McAllen Police Department have reported a two-vehicle collision near downtown last Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at about 11:11 a.m. within the 2200 block of West Nolana Avenue east of the intersection with North 21st Street.
Investigators say the incidnt was caused by the 40-year-old male driver of a 2011 Ford when he failed to yield to the right of way of a 2013 Chevrolet driven by a 21-year-old woman.
Neither the driver of the Ford nor the driver of the Chevrolet was reported injured as a direct result of the crash. However, both vehicles sustained significant damage.
