PHARR, TX – Investigators with the Pharr Police Department have reported a suspected DWI collision near U.S. 281 early Saturday morning.
The collision was reported shortly after 6 a.m. within the 200 block of Albatross Avenue, just west of the intersection with South Cage Boulevard.
Police say the 21-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2016 Ford was intoxicated when he failed to maintain the lane he was in and sideswiped a 2020 Honda. Neither driver was injured immediately following the crash.
No further information with regard to the identity of the driver responsible or if they will face any charges has been made available at this time.
