Multiple injuries sustained after rear-end crash on W. Ridge Rd. in Pharr

PHARR, TX – Two people were injured as the result of a high-speed rear-end collision in McAllen last week.

The March 24th crash took place at about 1:39 p.m. within the 100 block of West Ridge Boulevard near the intersection with South Cage Boulevard.

Investigators believe the 30-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2004 Ford was speeding when her vehicle collided with the rear of a 2019 Hyundai.

Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor her 13-year-old passenger was injured. However, both occupants in the Hyundai, ages 27 and 59, sustained unknown injuries.
