Nissan sideswipes tractor-trailer on I-2 in Pharr

PHARR, TX – Police in Pharr were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer early last Thursday morning.

The accident took place shortly after 7 a.m. near the I-69C interchange.

Investigators say the 46-year-old male driver of a 2001 Nissan made an unsafe lane change and swiped the front passenger’s side of a 2016 International tractor-trailer.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as an immediate result of the collision. It is unclear if the driver responsible for the crash will face any charges at this time.
