SAN ANTONIO, TX – One woman was sent to the hospital following a suspected DWI collision in San Antonio Tuesday evening.

According to KSAT, the accident occurred along the Stone Oak Parkway at the intersection with Evans Road at about 7:20 p.m.

Police say 36-year-old Natalie Chapman was traveling eastbound on the parkway in her white Infiniti G35 when she ran a red light and collided with the passenger side of a BMW.

The initial impact forced the BMW over a curb and into a roadside embankment.

One passenger in the BMW, a 38-year-old woman, was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis. No further information with regard to her identity has been released at this time.

Chapman was taken into custody and is facing a charge of intoxication assault in connection to Tuesday’s San Antonio DWI crash.
