SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person was hospitalized and another taken into custody following a suspected DWI crash on I-10 Monday morning.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred at about 2:15 a.m. within the 7000 block of I-10 East near the exit to North Foster Road.
Police say an unidentified male driver was under the influence when he collided with the rear of a second vehicle. The force of the impact sent the second vehicle off the roadway and into a landfill nearby.
The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash. The man responsible for the crash was taken into custody on suspicion of DWI.
