1 injured following hit-and-run crash on I-35 Frontage Rd

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to News 4, a woman was hurt in a hit-and-run accident on the 6200 block of I-35 Frontage Rd Sunday.

An allegedly impaired driver rear-ended a Hyundai stopped at a red light around 2:48 p.m. The suspect fled the area after checking on the driver.

The suspect then drove back to his home with a female passenger, who had sufferred a broken leg in the collision. Officers found the suspect under the influence and arrested him for Intoxication Assault, Failure to Stop and Give Info, and Failure to Stop and Render Aid-SBI.

First responders transported the injured passenger to an area hospital.
