SAN ANTONIO, TX – A teenage girl died and another motorist was rushed to the hospital following a head-on collision on Highway 87 Friday morning.
According to News 4 SA, the accident occurred on Highway 87 near the ramp to East Loop 1604 South at about 8:30 a.m.
Officials at the scene say the girl had just left her home when the accident occurred. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The other driver involved was transported to a local hospital. Details regarding their condition have not yet been released.
Investigators believe fog and low visibility may have played a role in the collision.
