SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people died following a crash near Research Plaza and S New Braunfels Ave Wednesday evening, KSAT reports.
Jaime Perez, 21, was driving a Dodge Challenger east on Research Plaza when they lost control of their vehicle near S New Braunfels Ave and jumped a curb. The car then went across a grassy area and collided with a tree before it rolled into a man-made pond upside down.
First responders pronounced Perez and an unidentified 19-year-old female passenger dead at the scene of the accident around 10 p.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the police.
