SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people were rushed to the hospital after their vehicle collided with a roadside tree in south San Antonio Wednesday night.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred at about 11 p.m. within the 16100 block of Applewhite Road near the Medina River.
Police say the male driver of a Ford Explorer Sport Trac lost control of the vehicle while traveling south on Applewhite Road and collided with a roadside tree.
Both the driver and his passenger, a woman in her 40s, were rushed to University hospital for treatment of serious, potentially life-threatening injruies. Police discovered drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, but no arrests were made due to the severity of the injuries.
