SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two men were taken into custody following a rear-end collision involving an SAPD cruiser on the West Side late Tuesday night.
According to WOAI, the collision occurred at about 11 p.m. when the officer was parked at the intersection with South Laredo Street and South Brazos Street.
Police say two men were arguing when their vehicle crashed into the rear of the officer’s cruiser. Once the officer exited his vehicle, the two men got out of their vehicle and continued to fight.
More officers were called to the scene to break up the altercation. Both men were immediately arrested on a number of charges. It is unclear if the driver was intoxicated at the time of the incident. However, drugs were found in the vehicle.
