SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two men died s the result of a major single-vehicle collision in northwest San Antonio early Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the driver attempted to turn onto the I-10 access road when he struck the curb at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to go airborne. The vehicle then landed on the off-ramp to De Zavala before bouncing into a nearby concrete wall.

The car then went into the left should before striking the wall a second time and coming to rest in the far right lane of the interstate.

Excessive speed was determined to be a factor in the collision that took the life of both men inside the vehicle. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
