SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman died after sticking a utility pole on San Antonio’s East Side Sunday afternoon.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred within the 200 block of Chandler Road just east of the intersection with Wild Plum Drive.
Police say the woman struck the pole head-on. She then attempted to exit the vehicle on her own but collapsed shortly after. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries upon paramedics’ arrival at the scene.
Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending further investigation into the crash.
