SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office has released the identity of the woman killed in a collision on I-10 early Monday morning.
According to KSAT, the northwest San Antonio collision occurred at about 3 a.m., when 21-year-old Nina Leyva’s vehicle struck a curb, rolled several times, and was then hit by an 18-wheeler.
Leyva was rushed to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
