3 men hospitalized after head-on crash on SH-46 in New Braunfels

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – Three men were seriously injured as the result of a multi-vehicle collision in New Braunfels on Tuesday night.

According to a report by the Herald-Zeitung, the crash took place shortly before 9:30 p.m. within the 2100 block of SH-46.

Investigators believe the driver of a pickup truck crossed the center line for unknown reasons and collided head-on with an Acura.

Three occupants, ages 34, 25, and 21, were all transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.

At least one other person involved in the crash was not seriously hurt.
