3-vehicle rear-end collision reported in Stoneridge

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department responded to a three-vehicle rear-end collision on the city’s north side Wednesday evening.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Wetmore Road and Maverick Creek just past McAllister Park at about 5 p.m.

Officials at the scene believe the 72-year-old female driver of a 2007 Chevrolet failed to notice stopped traffic in front of her and collided with the back end of a 2015 Ford. The initial impact pushed the Ford into the rear of a 2001 Buick.

Luckily, none of the drivers or passengers involved in the crash were injured as a result.
