SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three people were sent to the hospital and a fourth sustained a minor injury resulting from a suspected DWI collision on the Northeast Side Sunday night.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred along Bandera Road at about 7 p.m.
Investigators believe the incident was caused when the unidentified suspect was intoxicated and failed to yield to the right of way of another driver. The individual responsible for the collision was immediately rushed to the hospital to be treated for a head injury.
To other passengers in the suspect vehicle were also hospitalized with minor injuries. The second driver also sustained minor injuries but was treated and released from the scene.
No charges have been filed against the driver responsible at this time. However, the investigation remains underway as of Monday evening.
