4 Injured Following Suspected DWI Crash Involving Ambulance in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Four people were sent to a San Antonio hospital following a suspected drunk driving collision early Monday morning.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, the accident took place along Culebra Road near the intersection with Les Harrison Drive when a sedan collided with the front-end of an ambulance.

The ambulance, which was transporting an elderly woman, jumped the median and collided with a nearby fence.

Two paramedics along with a man and woman in the at-fault vehicle were taken to University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

It is still unclear who was behind the wheel of the sedan at the time of the crash.
