SAN ANTONIO, TX — A crash caused by a speeding tractor-trailer caused 4 other vehicles to crash, killing a motorcyclist.
According to KSAT, the accident occurred in the late afternoon on Monday in the 8200 block of Interstate 10 East. The driver of a tractor trailer failed to control his speed on a busy highway and collided with a motorcycle, killing the driver. Police identified the deceased motorcyclist as 65 year-old Kyle Wayne Perry.
Three other cars crashed as a result. One of the vehicles, a Jeep, rolled over off the highway due to the force. The tractor-trailer then jack-knifed, blocking multiple lanes of traffic on the interstate.
After the accident the driver of the tractor-trailer failed to give aid at the scene and attempted to escape on foot.
