SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least one lane was shut down following a late afternoon crash on I-35 in downtown San Antonio on Wednesday.
According to Total Traffic San Antonio, the accident took place at about 4 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate, near the US-281 interchange.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, this situation is still developing. Commuters have been advised to seek an alternate route as delays are likely throughout Wednesday’s rush-hour traffic.
The cause of the collision remains unclear at this time.
