Collision on Tower of the Americas leaves 60-year-old man injured

SAN ANTONIO, TX – At least one person was injured as the result of a rear-end collision near Tower of the Americas earlier this week.

The incident was reported on May 3rd along Tower of the America’s way, just outside of Hemisfair Park.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department say the unidentified male driver of a 2008 BMW was speeding and inattentive to the roadway when his vehicle careened into the rear of a 2014 Honda.

The man responsible for the crash did not sustain any notable injuries. However, a 60-year-old male passenger was reportedly injured as a result of the crash. The extent of his injuries is unclear at this time.
