SAN ANTONIO, TX – A semi-truck driver fatally struck a tree on South Zarzamora Street near Hunters Pond Thursday, KSAT reports.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was a supplier for the plant. He had just finished a 12-hour shift and was on his way home when he hit the tree at around 7:19 a.m.
According to the police, speed and fatigue may have been a factor in the collision.
Authorities will ID the victim once his next of kin has been notified.
