Elderly woman hospitalized after SUV crashes through West Side home

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people, including an elderly woman, were sent to the hospital after an SUV slammed into a home on the West Side late Sunday night.

According to KTSA, the accident occurred near the intersection of South San Joaquin Avenue and West Commerce Street at about 11:30 p.m. Witnesses say the driver of an SUV lost control of their vehicle and skidded into a utility pole and fence before crashing through the living room of an elderly woman’s home.

Both the woman and the driver were rushed to a local hospital following the incident. No updates regarding their conditions have been made available at this time.
