SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio firefighters rescued a construction worker who had become trapped in a trench at a project on the city’s northwest side Tuesday afternoon, KSAT reports.
The man fell into the trench while he was supervising a crew at Galm Road and Swayback Ranch, and became trapped up to his waist in dirt. It took emergency responders about two hours to free him, at which point he was airlifted to a local hospital.
