Injuries reported in Southwest San Antonio rear-end crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department have reported at least one injury resulting from a rear-end collision near the San Antonio River late Saturday night.

The crash was reported at about 10:20 within the 4800 block of South Presa Street near the intersection with Mount Vernon Court. Police say the 18-year-old male behind the wheel of a 2009 Mitsubishi failed to control his speed or notice slowed traffic ahead of him when he collided with the rear of a 2013 Dodge carrying two people.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was injured as a result of the crash. However, the severity of his injuries are still unknown.

No one in the Dodge was hurt in the accident.
