Man Killed in Fatal Drunk Driving Accident

SAN ANTONIO — According to KSAT, a fatal drunk driving accident occurred on the 20600 block of State Highway 16 South on Saturday night, killing a 54-year-old man who was riding as a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver, Alejandro Garcia, was driving recklessly before he lost control of his vehicle. The car crossed into the median and rolled over several times. The victim was ejected from the vehicle before it came to a stop. Emergency medical services rushed him to University Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police have charged Garcia with intoxicated manslaughter.
