SAN ANTONIO, TX – A pedestrian was killed while attempting to run across a busy freeway early Sunday morning.
According to KENS, the incident occurred when the man was running across Northwest Loop 410 near the exit to Callaghan Road at about 4:45 p.m.
Witnesses told police the man was trying to get across the freeway when he was struck in one of the main lanes of travel sustaining a major injury. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The driver did not appear to be intoxicated. They are not expected to face any charges.
