Motorcyclist dies after losing control and crashing

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to local news, a motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash after losing control near the South Side on Wednesday night. The accident occurred at SW Loop 410 and Zarzamora Street a little bit before midnight.

Deputies from Bexar County Sherriff’s Office found Quan Van Bach, 28, in the grassy area beside the road.

Bach was reported to have been leading a group of motorcycles traveling at speeds of more than 100 mph when he got too close to another motorcycle and lost control. Bach went airborne and it took several minutes for officials to locate him.

He was still alive when he was found but members of the San Antonio Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene soon after.
