Motorcyclist killed after colliding with stopped vehicle in Northwest San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department have reported a single fatality resulting from a multi-vehicle motorcycle accident on Loop 410 Wednesday night.

According to My San Antonio, the incident occurred within the 5200 block of Loop 410 at about 9:30 p.m.

Police say 23-year-old Daniel Santiago was riding his 2001 Kawasaki ZX-1000C at a high rate of speed he approached stopped traffic at Evers Road. Santiago laid down the motorcycle and slid into the back of a Subaru.

He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash but was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
