Motorcyclist killed in west San Antonio hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A motorcyclist died following a hit-and-run collision on San Antonio’s west side Monday afternoon.

According to KSAT, the accident took place on May 3rd within the 1700 block of South General McMullen Drive, near the intersection with Darby Boulevard.

Police say the unidentified driver of a back SUV struck the motorcycle, causing it to slide nearly 100 yards down the roadway. The SUV then made a turn and drove away from the scene.

The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead just a short time later.
