Motorcyclist killed multi-vehicle crash in North San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a pickup truck in north San Antonio early Thursday morning.

According to KENS, the incident took place at about 2:30 a.m. within the 10400 block of North Hampton.

Officers with the San Antonio Police Department say two motorcyclists were riding together when one veered off the roadway and onto a sidewalk before crashing into a parked pickup truck.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The other rider involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Investigators believe speed may have played a role in the fatal collision.
