North San Antonio house fire injures 2

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person was hospitalized and another treated for burns following a house fire in the Stone Oak neighborhood Thursday morning.

According to KSAT, the fire broke out at about 10 a.m. at a home along Champion Trail.

Upon arrival, firefighters upgraded the fire to a second alarm, as it had spread to the second floor of the home.

The homeowners were able to escape and were standing outside. One person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a burn injury to their arm. The second was treated at the scene.

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the blaze at this time.
