SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio police officer has been arrested after he fled the scene of an accident, Fox San Antonio reports.
The off-duty officer was involved in an accident near Bulverde Road and N. Loop 1604 East. He fled the scene and was followed by a 61-year-old man, who was the other driver in the accident.
When this man confronted him, the officer allegedly began to assault him before being arrested.
The officer has been suspended without pay while the investigation continues.
