Pedestrian injured after hit-and-run on New Braunfels Ave.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officers with the San Antonio Police Department reported one injury resulting from a pedestrian accident near U.S. Highway 281 Monday morning.

The accident happened at about 11:15 a.m. along New Braunfels Avenue just north of the Highway 281 overpass.

Police believe the unknown driver of a gray Chevrolet struck an 88-year-old male pedestrian before fleeing the scene of the crash.

The victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

No further identifying information with regard to the driver involved in the crash has been released at this time.
