SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was hit on I-37 near Commerce Street after she jumped over the median and on to the roadway, reports Fox San Antonio.
The incident took place on Friday night in the northbound lanes of the highway. The pickup truck’s driver said that it seemed like the woman was trying to pick something up off the roadway.
The woman was hospitalized in critical condition following the accident. No charges are expected against the truck’s driver.
