Rollover crash injures 16 people near San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver and 15 migrant passengers were injured in a rollover crash in Bexar County Sunday, according to CBS.

The incident began in Medina County when a deputy pulled over a pickup truck at around 8 a.m. One occupant fled the scene on foot and then the pickup truck sped off.

Deputies chased the driver into Bexar County when they lost control of the truck and rolled over multiple times.

First responders airlifted two victims to an area hospital and transported the 14 other victims to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Of the 16 injured people, two are in critical condition.

Authorities found a gun in the truck. The driver is facing multiple charges.
